I'm finally back home from my 3-week vacation. I went to Washing D.C., Baltimore, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. It was mainly a vacation for sightseeing and looking at college campuses. All in all, it was a pretty good trip. I had my doubts and objections about going at first.

I brought home many many brochures, memories, photos, experiences to share, ...and a sprained thumb (another story for another time). During the trip, my access to the internet was low at times, but I will get back to my Nuzlocke (no, it's NOT dead- just a little hard writing it out and finding inspiration). Aside from that, it's good to be back and starting school soon. Can't wait to see all of my friends again. Bye!

...is my next project here on Deviantart. Now that summer is here, I have the time I need to relax and play video games, watch some anime, etc. Honestly, I've been on complete writer's block on Fanfiction, but I had an urge to absolutely write SOMETHING. Now, a couple of good friends of mine are doing a Nuzlocke challenge on some of their Pokemon games. I thought it would be fun to join in. Starting tomorrow, I will restarting my Pokemon Soul Silver game and I will (for the first time), attempt a Nuzlock Challenge. There are the common rules and restrictions that I'm applying to my gameplay to the challenge...

• You must only catch the first Pokemon you encounter on each route you are on. (If you fail trying to catch it, no more attempts)
• Any Pokemon in your party that faints, "dies". This means that they can no longer be used at all in battle and must either be released, or stored forever in a box.
• Nickname your pokemon for a greater bond. <-- I seriously can't think of many names for this. Gah, this will be so hard, considering the fact that I normally don't like to nickname.
• A "black out" means game (thus, the Nuzlocke) is over, even though there may be some left in boxes.
• Only edible healing (berries, lemonade, soda) are allowed during battles. No potions, full restores, etc. during battle. Idk about anytime off-battle.
• If the same pokemon already caught from a previous route is encounter, I have two more chances for another new one. If the chances are done, then I keep going.
• It is okay for NPCs to give Pokemon to the character (Lapras, later the other starters)

Those are just the basic rules. If there are some I probably missed, I'll try to catch it along the way. Hope this is as fun as people make it out to be. Can't wait to start.

is what we should celebrate today. Personally, I think all mothers in the world should be recognized for their actions, love, and sacrifice. Even though I may fight and get into arguments with mine, I'm more than grateful for her every day. She raised me to be the person many people see me.

...This is also the day I was adopted from my homeland in China. People tell me that things happen for a reason. When I visited three years ago the location where I was abandoned, I was given that advice. I think I know now what that reason is. I came to America in the arms of my new mother to be with everyone I'm with now. Almost everyone who knows had given me endless support. Had I not have been found, I'd never meet the wonderful friends and family and mother I am with now. Thank you, mom. I love you.
